Just before Christmas 2019, FSA representatives interviewed the two candidates for the upcoming special State General Assembly election for the 132nd District seat recently vacated by First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick. COMING UP..... February 26, 2020: State issues - Bigelow Center, Wednesday at 10 a.m. We will discuss State Legislature actions affecting seniors’ income taxes, estate taxes, and medical costs - plus a brief update on senior-related Federal tax changes impacting 2019 and 2020. There will be some good news! February 27, 2020: Senior-friendly housing - Woods Library, Thursday at 6:30 p.m. On this evening we will review the community's needs for - and FSA’s work toward - senior-friendly housing solutions. This will be a highly interactive session, building on our January sessions and FSA research.
